I am qualified as a carpenter and joiner after completing my 3-year apprenticeship at Worthing College. I worked for a local company for 18 months before deciding to become self-employed. For the last 45 years, I have been running my own DIY and maintenance business. Fortunately, all my clients find me through word-of-mouth recommendations. Good work is the most effective marketing.
In 2022, I joined The Beeches to manage all maintenance work and upkeep of the building. I am responsible for coordinating with specialist tradespeople to ensure the smooth running of The Beeches building. I take pride in painting and decorating residents’ rooms and taking on renovation projects. I am keen to ensure The Beeches residents feel happy, comfortable and at home in their surroundings. After all, this is their home.
