LOUNGE

The lounge area is comfortably furnished and is ideal for reading, relaxing or watching the large-screen satellite TV. Patio doors lead out to the gardens and offer a very pleasant view throughout the year.

PATIO AND GARDEN

The lovely garden at the care home faces west, so it gets the benefit of the sun in the afternoon and evening. The neatly planted flowers, shrubs and trees can be enjoyed from the patios or pathways around the garden.

FOOD

Our food is all cooked on site and our chefs all use fresh, local produce.

Our dining room is inviting and a social hub. Tables are decorated with fresh flowers and white linen. Our residents have a glass of wine or sherry with meals.

All meals, apart from themed evenings, are produced on the premises with fresh ingredients.

We alter and update our menus and listen to feedback from residents. Ideas on new dishes. Home-baked cakes are produced every day and they are delicious. Our staff are on hand to prepare snacks and drinks out with meal times.

Residents are assisted in the areas where support is required and our focus is on how you personally like things done, we recognise that all of our residents are unique and so are their requirements.

HAIRDRESSING SALON

A hairdressing salon is provided for residents use. We have our own visiting hairdresser and residents are welcome to bring in their own stylist

ENTERTAINMENT & EXERCISE AT THE NURSING HOME

There is a comprehensive programme of entertainment at The Beeches. We have a monthly schedule of events and activities organised by our dedicated Activity Coordinator. Residents can enjoy musical entertainment, organised outings and keep fit . Cheese and wine evenings are popular as are our, themed meal and takeaway nights. We also ensure one to one contact for residents who are not always able to participate.
